This docking kit is great, does the job and fits Harley branded accessories. I installed it on my 2019 FHLXRS Road King Special. The installation was uncomplicated. The hardware that came with it didn't fit, the washers were too big. I ended up using gear that was taken off the bike with fillers. It's no big deal and a huge cost savings for what is really just a bunch of metal braces. It's not a 1v1 match with a black Harley, but for the price it's close.

Does everything the HD version can. There is only one difference, this product has round rubber feet while the HD version has elliptical rubber feet. Elliptical bindings are beneficial over time - as they wear out they can be rotated and the fit is snug again. This product lost a star for several reasons. In the photo it is matte, but in reality it is glossy. Also, the left front docking point is very close to mine and I adjusted it as best I could. Install using the HD instructions.

This is what I needed to make my holdall detachable. They arrived quickly and were very easy to install and looked good. The problem I had was that the plastic spacers that the tour pack attaches to cracked the very first time I installed the pack. Out of the box the mount looks well fitted with a satin black finish, OEM Harley gloss black. After unboxing, I lined up the 2 front C-channel holes on the bike mount and unclipped the locking hardware on the bike dock. It was easy and the mount looked great. The kicker was that once you grabbed the mount, the whole thing contained an inordinate amount of slop. Docking gear looks good. It fits much better than I expected and the magnet is very strong. The finish is acceptable for something that is often removed. A little polishing will most likely make the chrome finish look like a mirror. Aside from the shipping issue detailed below, my biggest issue is that the magnet is not fixed in the lid. This way the magnets stay on the bike every time the cover is removed. I know it's a minor issue, but a drop of epoxy would have prevented it. Another Problem.
