Review on 🐶 Vet Recommended ThunderShirt Polo: Calming Solution Vest for Dog Anxiety, Fireworks, Thunder, Travel, & Separation by Mariah Perry

I actually wanted to give Thundershirt 5 stars, but it didn't work for my dog. The measurements given allowed me to buy the right size that fits him well. He wags his tail when I show him so I guess he likes it and is comfortable. It's bright, which is great, but it would be too hot in Florida in the summer. Most importantly, it didn't calm him down. Well, that might be the kind of anxiety my dog has. He is 15 years old, he has very poor hearing which increases anxiety and pain due to arthritis. Simon has had severe separation anxiety since I first brought him home as a little puppy. I didn't know until I fell in love with him that he was weaned at 4 weeks! Separation anxiety has only intensified over the years. Also, over the last year he's just shown more constant fear and anguish, probably exacerbated by his hearing loss (he has to keep an eye on me all the time or he gets upset) and pain. Probably too much general anxiety for this thunder shirt to work. I have no doubt that it will help others. I just wanted it to help me. :(
