This bike stick has done a lot to improve the ride on my lush currents. Since I've had this seatpost, I've had a lot less trouble riding over bumps or bumps in the pavement or road. I upgraded to a stiffer elastomer for an additional cost. Because I weigh more than the norm allows. The post looks really good. and if there's one thing I can complain about, it's that there's only one adjustment screw that controls the angle, fore and aft position. The other day I encountered a strong dent and heard a small crack. When I got back to my trip, I tightened it a bit more. You should probably do that before your trip anyway. For me that's a great value. It really makes the ride that much nicer and more enjoyable.
