I'm in my 70's with chronic back problems and this post is the ticket for me. I ride 30 to 40 miles a week and it has made my travels so much more enjoyable.

I've found that the elastomer interferes with the full range of motion they claim. When it contracts, it becomes very hard and restricts movement. I found it slower and less active than the suspension seatposts I've tried. I also found it more difficult to tighten the seat clamp just enough to prevent unexpected saddle tilt compared to other seatposts.

I'm 5ft 6" with a medium sized frame. . Minimum saddle height is 40" with the Thudbuster installed. I really wanted it to work but unfortunately I have to send it back. Perhaps Cane Creek could design a clothes rail for those of us who aren't very tall.

I had some trouble placing my Brooks saddle on this post. It still doesn't feel fully blocked, but it works for my needs. The rest of the installation went smoothly. I've been using Thudbuster on my commuter eBike for a few weeks and have no complaints. A definite step up from the stock rack and warm big saddle. Offers the same, if not more, shock absorption than the two combined.

What a pain in the back to have my Brooks leather saddle mounted on this post. It wasn't as easy as they claim. after waiting for the elastomer technician. To settle down (I'm not an early adopter) I finally decided to do it. Mr. new e-bike is very tough and this post is of great importance. The saddle bolt is delicate / short / be careful. I installed it myself but it was a little tricky so for the uninitiated I recommend taking it to a shop to have it installed. . But overall I highly recommend this product. And I'm glad I waited for the first iterations to run their course.💙

Mounting the seat post on the bike was easy and uncomplicated, as was mounting the saddle. It was difficult to replace the middle elastomer with a softer one. It took a lot of force and I had to use a screwdriver to push out and pry out the original insert, leaving small scratches on the metal.
