Review on APDTY Cadillac Chevrolet Compatibility Replaces by Shane Popo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

2008 Silverado works great.

2008 Silverado 1500 It's big - let's remember it's a one stop replacement to save time removing the axle shaft - so yeah there's a better case when you have the entire want to take the front end apart. But it works fine. You will need to use a CV clamp and tool. ear type. Universal clamps and tool in Napa (tool $12, clamps $3) The included universal cam clamps are terrible. - Take your time and pre-assemble the screws on the workbench, leave them to the side. - lift it up, pull off the wheels - cut off the old yokes with a grinder - cut off the old cover with a utility knife - I glued them to the axle with rubber glue, then put the nuts on the bolts ( hold the needle nut and use a small cordless drill.) - then pack the resume clean with lube (if everything around the boot and fork is slippery like an M-shaped bar) - put the fork on the outside first - like this as far as possible by hand using the tool - repeat with the clamp and the tool in it. Others said too big. - I agree it was big for my application, but with a real clamp and tool it was VERY safe and easy to do.

Pros
  • Fits Front Outer
Cons
  • Damaged
