Really terrible design. I have two other Govee models and the sticky remote set up perfectly in them, with the antenna and power cords down and the extension with the lights up. You don't have an antenna here, instead the power strip and power cord point straight down. There is no easy way to explain this. (Image included for clarity) As a side note, I use my lights at the top of my walls. So if I want a keyboard device to face properly (mostly with keys and letters right side up) I have to lean awkwardly up over the extension, and if I rotate it so the extension is up, I have to I bend the power cord down, it's ugly anyway. And the final nail in the coffin lid is that the power cord is black instead of the seamless one on my other model, which matches the white of the self-adhesive remote and complements the device. I'm just overall disappointed with the design and really wondering if I received a used/opened/wrong product? Also, this one doesn't come with a portable remote control, you 100% need a smart home app or device. For the price and length of the light I think it's still a fair deal and the lights themselves seemed bright and beautiful. . Given that, I won't be returning it, but thought other nitpicks might be interested in knowing what they're getting into with it.
