I read almost all the reviews about this set of tweezers. I was hoping to finally find a kit that does what I need. Help me remove ingrown hair! When I took them out of the box, there was a cool little insert for another pair of tweezers if you wrote a review or something (I digress). After trying to use these tweezers in all their great visual glory, they really aren't as useful as I need them to be. The edges of sharp instruments were not filed accurately, resulting in ingrown hairs; almost impossible. I checked the edges by running them over the tip of my nail. Scratch! Nothing out of the ordinary, but the edges weren't really smooth, reducing the overall effectiveness of the tool (tweezers in this case). I have not been able to effectively grasp the ingrown hair or even use an edge properly to break the skin or rip off the layers of skin growing over the ingrown hair. I wanted to love these tweezers and gave it a try. Unfortunately, this purchase was unsuccessful. As anyone with an ingrown hair will tell you; 'You're hurt!' The last thing anyone wants to do is pick the wrong tool for something that can be as painful and unsightly as an ingrown hair.
