Review on πŸ”§ Versatile BLACK+DECKER Portable Workbench and Vise (WM425-A): The Ultimate Project Center Solution by Jere Mosley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Arrived with cracked, warped, delaminated board

Lots of reviews mention bad building instructions - I checked them out but got the basic clue from the instructions on YouTube - just search "How to build your Workmate 425". " from youtuber "WorkMateGuy". Based on that, assembly was a breeze. Except that the third (largest) panel that came with my unit is cracked, badly deformed and delaminated. It is like that badly deformed that i could hardly fit it Fit in the frame and it got stuck because it was so bent so its usability is severely limited its a great pity as everything else works fine what should i do here the thing Sending it back is a big issue considering how big it is I would like Black & Decker to take responsibility and just send me a replacement board and I can only send them back the defective board, I'm not home at the moment but when i get back i will take some pics of the board and contact black & decker i will then update this with a customer service rating - manufacturer warranty worst case scenario i may have to send this back to ravene n, although I'm not on S process, considering how big this thing is. UPDATE: Well, everything went well - no. Warranty service just doesn't exist with B&D so I had to contact Revain and they actually sent a replacement - the whole unit and of course wanted to return the old one. Only problem, the replacement unit had an even *more* warped and cracked third disk. I give up - I guess I'll just live with a bent and crooked record.
