It's great but short lived

I'm the type of person who holds the wheel very loosely, usually in the 7 or 5 position, and only uses the wheel when turning and whatnot. However, after a month the material is already starting to loosen and build up all over the top and sides, so now I'm fighting the urge to just pick.
