Well, my winter tires have 50 holes. on each side (inside outside). Nowhere on the tire is it written how many studs you need. Nowhere does this product give an estimate of how much you need for a tire (of course every tire is different, but to say that a 26" tire needs around 70 studs is a useful estimate. Quality is lacking. Some of the carbide tips are not level ie won't fit properly and will likely be ripped out during use Should have listened better to this other review I'm pretty handy but you can only do so much with what's on hand.
