They wick moisture away from the cabinet, under the sink and cabinets. We live in a tropical area and it rains all the time. The only downside is that they need to be changed often, 3-4 weeks depending on humidity. The only downside I have is that they are overpriced. Found these at dollar stores for $1.75 each.
