The scale was relatively cheap so I was concerned about its accuracy and accuracy so I weigh 6 coins to see if the claims can be confirmed. The test showed that the standard deviation of the measurements is less than one milligram per gram. In terms of accuracy, the supplied standard isn't very helpful as it was probably used for the initial calibration of the scale, but it was useful to assess repeatability, which was very good. Weighed 100 grams each. To get an idea of accuracy I used coins which are very constant weight when new. The coin test showed a deviation of approximately 0.25% from the weight of the net new coins. Since the coins were neither new nor clean, I think that's very good for the price. Since I will be using a balance to titrate medication, accuracy and reproducibility are very important to me. This scale seems to fit me. The scale looks good, but at the moment I have no idea how reliable it is. Now for the bad news: the screen protector parts were not included in the box. The seller promised to send me the missing parts but they haven't arrived yet. I will update this review with a review of vendor performance in about two weeks. Update: They have arrived! I have found the scale to be repeatable but not responsive to small changes in load. Let's say 4 mg plus or minus. The workaround is to press down on the scale for about a second to adjust the reading correctly. This second lag is a little annoying, but it's likely due to air currents and vibrations constantly changing the readings, and the microprocessor spending time averaging the readings. I titrated one of my medications to a dose of 1.375mg, which is 60mg of crushed tablets and I was able to save 37 doses, all within +/- 1.5%.
