Definitely solved the problem
Our front door was replaced including the narrow curtained sidelight . The new trim was too narrow for the spring rod I had used. Although the circumference of the rod was slightly bigger than the new trim it was so much better than the larger one you could hardly notice the edge sticking out a tiny bit beyond the trim. Since the location of the rods was floor and ceiling, no one can really see it. Glad I bought them.
