The pump's small size and battery make it easy to carry on your back or in a bike backpack in an emergency. The pump is noisy and slow. It shines for small things like balls or bike tires and can inflate a car tire BUT you have to wait a long time (over 5 minutes to go from 27psi to 35.5). It would be better if the hose was longer, but that's not an indicator. Different settings work differently (when setting a car tire the pressure exceeds 2psi, I assume this is due to air loss from removing the pump, this has not happened in the bike settings). The pump can also be used as a backup battery.
