I bought this product because my father who had a stroke needed someone to trim his beard and the hospital it with their razors with smaller blade could not do . Everything fell apart on first use. New batteries died almost immediately, and then I replaced them and they died again: two complete sets for one trimmer. In the meantime, I put on one of the shields that came with it and the entire front of the device popped out of my hand. I put zero effort into everything; It's just terrible design. There is no fastener holding the entire front assembly to the body - it is removed instantly. Avoid this product at all costs. If I could give him negative numbers I would because I wasted my time and money and my veteran father was not getting the care he needed thanks to Conair.
