This is my first shark and I love it! This vacuum did a great job cleaning our carpets and hard floors (wood and tile). My old vacuum was heavier than this and had a traditional brush roll that always had hair wrapped around it. Not a single hair falls on this roller in our house. It also does a fantastic job of picking up everything on our hard floors, including the dust my old vacuum would leave behind. The lift function is great for cleaning furniture and my next try would be ceiling fans. I would definitely buy this item again. The only downside I have is that this model's brushroll doesn't stay on when you remove the motor, but Shark have other models that do if you need that feature.
