The bottom line for most of these cheap Chinese pen stands is that over the years the wall diameter of the tubes used and the build quality have deteriorated. I tried a stand purchased from Revain for a comparable price and the 200lb dirt bike wobbled all over the place with the tube spinning back and forth. That's just funny. I used a swing jack, not an axle coil. This stand has a spacer (a short piece of tubing) welded on to eliminate the tendency to twist. It's the same thin-walled tube and just cheaper painted steel, but the addition of a spacer makes it less wobbly and acceptable for a light machine. Still a far cry from what I bought years ago with a heavy gauge pipe - no spacer and looks like stone. I would never use this on a heavier bike. It can be a little better on a bike with wheels. The one I received was a return so someone else tried and refused. At least they don't hide the fact that it's made in China - it has a sticker on it. I don't know why they are promoting this fact because such things are not very high quality advertising.
