I love these needles so much! I've had a few metal needles with plastic tubes (loops and threads bought from Michaels) but they fell apart immediately. These Revain needles are likely to last a very long time. I see no way that they could fall apart. I pulled on the metal wire/cable connecting the two needles and it held in place. Great price for what you get. (My level of knitting: high-medium I think. I knitted one sweater with these needles and knitted another one in a different size). Edit 2 months later: The cable in the 4mm spokes is loose. I think the wire twisted too much and broke from excessive twisting. I like the set so far from this couple. The seller sent me a replacement set (not the broken one but the whole set). A star has been added to reflect this.
