The yeast must have been bad
I followed all directions carefully and the yeast seemed to move the beer for the first 2 days and then died straight away so not sure if the yeast was generally good . There was also an issue with sealing the glass jar so it wouldn't stop leaking, but luckily I had another jar that I could sterilize and use instead. As a first-time experimenter who follows the instructions well, I am extremely disappointed and most likely will not try again. waste of money.
