Well I've been using this device for a long time and thought I should write a review about it. I can't make any comparisons to other devices as this is the first one I've owned and tried. The sous vide stick does its job perfectly. Temperature control is consistent and accurate after mandatory calibration. I've used it to cook poultry, pork, beef, fish and game and it does a great job. I prefer to lightly season with herbs and spices before bain-marie, then finish cooking on the grill, skillet, or fryer. I mostly use vacuum bags for cooking. The moisture content is excellent. My favorite steaks, they are so tender and cooked to perfection. The Inkbird app is very simple and comes with a few (underline a few) recipes. The same app supports my Inkbird temperature sensor that I use for my kegerator which makes it a pleasure to use. I've found other cooking apps or websites that have lots of recipes and I just set my Inkbird app's timer and relax until it notifies me. The stick sticks well and is easy to read on the device or the app.
