These worked great as part of a costume. They came up two or three inches past my elbows. Though they did bunch up a bit, they were not falling down all night and seemed to be relatively good quality. The fingers were nicely fitted and not squared as I saw some other brands were. I have small hands, so I think they would be even better for someone with bigger hands.I had to iron a fold out of the middle of the gloves, but that was because of packaging. They lasted the rest of the night without issue. There's definitely a satin shine, but not in an overly cheap way. I would not wear to a wedding but for costumes and fun nights out this was a good choice!
