Despite the online product description, this balaclava is thick (very warm!) but not breathable, especially for cycling. I had to ride with my balaclava pulled down because I felt like I was suffocating in it. It would be fine for hiking but not for more strenuous activities. Also, the face hole is cut too high and exposes my forehead too much. I bought the smallest size but the top sits above my hairline. Maybe it's more suitable for boys, I'm a relatively petite girl and even the small size is too big for me. The bottom flap doesn't stay on my nose either - it just slides down.
