Review on πŸ”‹ Revitalize and Extend Battery Life with Pulsetech PowerPulse Battery Maintenance System by Brent Porter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Initially skeptical of the claims but it seems to do what it says on the tin

Initially skeptical of the unit I hooked it up to an old starter battery which was starting to drain. The battery dropped from 12.2V to 10.4V and 8.8V in just a few weeks. I connected this device and applied a constant 2.2A charge current to check the progress over the next few weeks. Nothing was seen, and about four weeks later a hydrogen explosion destroyed two of the cells. Note: do this outdoors where you can wash off the sulfuric acid splashes. I then hooked it up to a set of 7 year old T-105 Trojans, deep cycle flood batteries in 12v configuration, rated at 225Ah but derated to less than 40Ah. About a month later I tested the battery with 150A drain current and the battery capacity has more than doubled. Three months in the battery is still profitable. I was ready to buy a new battery but with this device it looks like I'm saving another life saving my money. The conclusion is that this device can work if the battery is not that far away and it takes a long time to show results.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
