Original batteries still from 2006 Ram

After two months of using these fixed two batteries in my diesel ram they seem to be working fine. Much higher expenses avoided; It's gotten slow to market and traditionally I'd just replace them, but the cost excluding the cost is $380 a pair. I combined this with a 5 watt solar charger. My batteries are 10 years old and are genuine Chrysler parts. Seems to be fine again. I'm very excited to see how long I can keep them alive.

I didn't doubt now.

Wow, now I had no doubts! NOT NOW. they really work for me. I now have 3.1 for my caravan (that's why I bought my first one. Yes, it breaks down sulphates and holds the charge much better). #2 Since it worked so well on a trailer, I have a diesel truck that I use primarily for towing a trailer and it sits a lot. #3 for my daily driver. with the voltage we impose on our batteries with all the extra electrical elements. I went broke for the price. So far EVERYTHING is GREAT. yes, i will buy…

Everything works so far

* Took 30 days I've been waiting for an evaluation until I see results * Very easy installation on a Club Car with 6-8V batteries * I was born a skeptic so none high expectations * I use my car at least 4 days a week. * I've noticed some improvements with 4 year old batteries. 2 months ago I was thinking about changing my batteries when the low battery indicator came on after playing about 12 holes. It's about 14 miles from my house, around the golf course and back home. The light will now…

48 volt unit does the job

I had my doubts and my evidence is not scientific. My 48 volt Ryobi self-propelled lawn mower definitely went out much earlier mowing my 1-acre garden than it did when it was new. Of course there are variables with the height and moisture of the weed, but the decrease was evident. The mower has a battery status indicator, but it does not provide numerical values. After adding this device, the area mowed before the mower needs to be charged has increased by 15 to 20 percent, possibly more. This…

Documented improvement

I have two batteries in my trailer, about 3 years old, charged by solar panels. Since installing it appears, I'm getting about 5 minutes a day of use. I get an alert saying "Battery low" at the end of the day and "Battery dead" in the morning. So I documented several times. Low battery warnings come about 3-5 minutes later each day and low battery warnings come about the same time earlier. In my area we are currently gaining about 2 minutes with earlier sunrise and later sunset due to ground…

Works great with chargers

I brought 3 completely dead batteries back to life. I removed the tips and filled up with distilled water. checked each cell and put on a power pulse charger while charging and left for a few days. WARNING! I charged each battery for about a week and all three Ivs were able to charge them up to 13v which I personally find quite impressive. And if I don't take the battery with me, I put it back in my pickup's battery. nothing hurts to keep up with an expensive investment like my dailies…

Initially skeptical of the claims but it seems to do what it says on the tin

Initially skeptical of the unit I hooked it up to an old starter battery which was starting to drain. The battery dropped from 12.2V to 10.4V and 8.8V in just a few weeks. I connected this device and applied a constant 2.2A charge current to check the progress over the next few weeks. Nothing was seen, and about four weeks later a hydrogen explosion destroyed two of the cells. Note: do this outdoors where you can wash off the sulfuric acid splashes. I then hooked it up to a set of 7 year old…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Compared to the built-in desulfator, the BatteryMinder operates at a lower frequency and in a narrower frequency range. And unlike the BatteryMinder OBD, it doesn't have an under-voltage cutoff either. Ironically, this means that without an external power supply (e.g. a charger) this device will eventually drop the battery voltage to a level where sulfation will definitely occur. Therefore, the charger needs to be plugged in every time the battery isn't used regularly (which is generally a good

Power Pulse, works for me!

I had almost all pulse desulfators. I have Power Pulse devices from the 80's. I use them on pickup trucks, sorting tractors, forklifts, floor scrubbers and anything that rolls and has a lead acid battery. Since it's not intended for use on airplanes, I use a Battery Minder specifically designed for charging airplane batteries. I'll probably save over $2,000 a year in battery replacement costs. Because battery manufacturers make batteries that barely survive the warranty period, even if they…
