Like any other dog crate, this one is also very well made. The entire assembly was easy, but it was a lot easier with an extra pair of hands. The manufacturer provided all the tools needed to assemble the kennel, but it's much quicker if you have power tools. Also, you can make the hardware much more dense. Do not overtighten the pre-installed screws to allow the sides to swing up. They are deliberately loosened to bridge any unevenness in production. Everything went very well. Once assembled, the kennel lay flat on the ground. While you CAN put your dog on the floor without anything, I suggest a blanket or something similar as it's just a flat base with some gaps. The floor pan fits perfectly and is easy to remove. The wheel locks worked great. I would suggest only locking the front two when placing them in a corner as the rear ones are pretty hard to reach. This kennel has no disadvantages. Powder coating, welds, metal thickness, hinges, wheels - all of the highest quality. I only wish I had bought the next size up as my pup is getting bigger.
