The pattern on it is beautiful. It looks great on the bed. My last 3 duvet covers were also microfiber and much softer than this one. The material on this one is a lot thinner than my last three which isn't really a problem as it's white and the duvet and pillows are also white so the contrasting color doesn't show through. I paid a little more for this one than the last 3 I bought. I usually buy a new set every year. Because of the material, I can't imagine it lasting that long. It's just not soft and silky. The last brand I bought was Utopia. I will definitely look out for this brand again. This blanket has beautiful and long ribbons. The zip doesn't go all the way through like my last set, so it's a little harder to tuck a blanket through.
