Review on Locking Transmission Dipstick - Allstar ALL69118 for Chevy/GMC 4L80-E Transmission by Victor Kakaruk

My bid for a 1964 Impala with original 327 small block and T350 transmission and it was fitted to the car with the engine and transmission. This oil dipstick tube was well made except for the plastic locking knob and it fits my car perfectly which makes it very easy to install. My last dipstick tube used a different mounting bolt. This is done using the top bolt of the gearbox housing on the passenger side near the engine head. This tube is solid and the mounting bracket is solid so removing that screw and installing the grommet in the first place makes things easier.
