We had many parts to make an outdoor/drive-in cinema film for our small community. This is a great way to maintain social distancing and still have a social event. We had most of the other components, but we thought FM would be a great way to handle the sound. This transmitter worked great. We just put it together, set the transmit frequency, turn on the transmitter and that's it. We drove through the community and the station covered 90% of it. It's probably something like 1/2 square miles. This distance is much more than the few hundred feet I needed, but it met (and exceeded) my needs. The event went well. Set up was easy and everyone had fun. I ended up buying an inexpensive portable AM/FM speaker (formerly called a boombox) for next time. In this way, even those walking can hear.
