Pros: great curls • last all day (our hair stays quite frizzy and voluminous even after brushing before bed, sleeping and brushing again in the morning) • very easy to remove • Speeds up morning get-ready Cons - It can be a bit difficult to get used to at first, but not too bad. It took me 45-60 minutes to get my daughter's first haircut. I recommend watching the YouTube video, in my opinion it's easier to see how it's done than to read the description. • uncomfortable to sleep on, I found it wasn't so bad if I spread them out on either side of my head and slept on my back. If they are dry, it is VERY difficult! • Twist your hair before securing it with the small tool provided. If you have very thick hair, release the strand AFTER you put it on the hook but BEFORE you try to put it on the curler • Don't use too thick a strand of hair, it won't pull through and will hurt Mom . • Use a product that moisturizes to prevent frizz and keep it light. I used Aussie Magic Curl Mousse and my and my daughter's curls were very shiny and easy to hold. They were still soft enough to style them the way I wanted them and then I sprayed them with hairspray. So if you like to alternate or have one side of your head going one way and the other side going the other way, you need to pay attention to their colors! still recommend and I would still use them for special occasions/holidays and what not.
