I was framing some paintings for an exhibition and wanted to improve my framing. I have many spools of professional carcass wire but it is not plastic coated. Sometimes that wire frays and it's pretty awful to trip over your fingers. This plastic finish is fun to work with and looks really professional. One problem I have is that my professional electrician's scissors won't cut this wire. I had to buy special wire cutters that cut this wire like butter. It also seems a bit pricey compared to the large spools of regular stranded wire that I buy.
