Great TV mount!: TV mounts, stands and turntables

Great stuff! Most of the TV mounts I found were not only expensive but also very bulky. This one is the complete opposite! It's made by Samsung so it's a perfect match for your Samsung TV (although I believe it's VESA mount compatible so it'll probably work with other brands, but don't quote me). It's so easy to set up I even thought I was missing something. They include all the hardware you need to mount to different types of walls, and the best part is that you can (assuming your TV is light enough) mount it in drywall 1/2 inch or thicker without one drill stand! They have metal rivets so this is a really big time and money saver. So you basically attach 4 discs to the back of the TV and then 2 large discs to the wall. Then you simply hang the wire between two large discs and it hangs like a picture frame. On the lower left dial is a small stand that pushes the TV away from the wall to access the cables (which are on this side on Samsung TVs). I found it to work reasonably well but seems a bit unreliable (although probably not). Also, it would be nice if there was a felt cover on the end of the stand as the metal can leave some marks on the wall. This mount is so amazingly skinny it's ridiculous! almost magically glued to the wall, but because it was so close and because Samsung was so crazy about putting such a HUGE end of the plug into the power cord, the top left corner of my TV was sticking out because of the fork. Luckily the folks at Samsung weren't completely dumb and included these little 1/2 inch washers that fit between the 4 little discs that fit on top of the TV. This pushes the TV far enough away to solve the problem, but it also makes the flimsy mount look a little less flimsy. While it's not really a mount issue and more of a TV issue, it still results in more clearance that could be possible. Just a small problem. Overall this is a great TV mount that is very thin and almost invisible. ** As a note for people having problems with their power cord (I've found quite a few online). Samsung included 4 gray washers to slide the TV out 1/2 inch so it can clean the power cord. This solves the problem of the TV being pushed out in a corner at the end of the plug, but also increases the TV's distance from the wall. I hope this helps those of you who were disappointed with the power cord (like me)**
