Save yourself frustration and use instead the auger type anchor. You don't need six per fixture, just two which makes installation a breeze. Besides they are much stronger. You don't even need to pre-drill, just stick them on the end of a phillips head, bump the back of the driver with your hand and begin twisting them into the wallboard. They go right in and tighten up like metal to metal. Otherwise I would give it five stars.
