Dangerous and Slow Charging

I like the fact that it automatically selects a charge profile for whatever battery you plug into it. Cons: No temperature sensor to monitor the batteries. This can cause a fire. It is quite dangerous to charge batteries without a thermal cut-off function. Also, as soon as you start charging the battery in it, it shows 0.5 charging current, which is far from reality. It charges at just 0.2A max, which is at best 0.4C with a AAA battery and 0.1C with an AA battery (tested with a power supply capable of handling 2A). There are no different charge levels with different currents depending on how charged the battery is. A good charger for Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries, but I wouldn't use it for Li-Ion because of the risk of fire. All in all it's ok for only 10 pesos.

Pros
  • Safety Guarantee: Comes with special charging and discharging control circuit. With multiple protection settings, the charger can effectively prevent reverse polarity, short circuit, overcharge, over-discharge and battery damage caused by overcurrent, allowing users to use the product without any safety concerns.
Cons
  • Crumpled
