UPDATE 8/22/11 I received a refurbished VP2768a through the RMA process. It is ViewSonic's policy to only replace a device with a new one if an error is reported within the first 30 days of purchase. After receiving the monitor the installation of the new VP2768a was delayed due to issues I was having with my existing monitor arms which could not support the weight of 2 VP2768s. Within the first 1-2 weeks of use, random colored lines began to appear. After purchasing ViewSonic's "Professional ColorPro Monitors," I found out the hard way that they don't back their "Professional" monitors with a professional warranty. I will consider other brands for my next monitor purchase. ViewSonic customer service representatives have been very responsive and courteous throughout the return process since a ViewSonics product is out of warranty. First Review: Very disappointed with the ViewSonic brand. Bought a new VP2768a, part of ViewSonic's ColorPro line of professional monitors, and after a week or two I started seeing colored lines on the screen. They quickly began to fill the screen to the point where the monitor could no longer be used. ViewSonic issued an RMA and I have just returned the monitor and all accessories to their Chino, California factory. Shipping to their facility takes up to 5 days, and a support rep said it could take 7-10 days to repair or replace the device. The thought of replacing a new monitor with a refurbished one is very frustrating. This is my second VP2768 series monitor and most likely my last. I will update my review with the customer service results. Not what I expected from ViewSonic's line of Professional Monitors.
