It's really nice and modern but quite loud compared to my old one, especially on high settings. Of course, the duct system also adds noise. I love the design of this hood and the controls are straight and comfortable. LED bulbs are cool spectrum, while the rest of the bulbs in the kitchen under the cabinets are either warm or cool white. I suppose this won't be a problem for most people, but it's something to keep in mind. It effectively removes steam and fat when cooking. Installation is fairly quick, although the installation instructions can be a bit vague. I may end up reinstalling a few extra inches further into the island if I bang my head on the edge of the glass. I'm not sure if this affects the efficiency of vapor delivery, but it's best not to bang your head until the end of this product's life.
