Great brush cleaner! Removes plaster without flushing the sink!

Disclaimer: I'm a caricaturist (almost 10 years) and I don't work in oil, just acrylic and watercolor. And I often use plaster of paris to prep the pages of my art magazine, but I don't wash my plaster of paris brushes in the sink because it will eventually clog the pipes! I only bought this product to get the cast out of my brush and it works great for that. What I do is I have a brush that is used exclusively for gesso. I keep 2 wide-necked glasses (old pickle jars) and a pitcher of water ready. I rub some pink soap into the tip of my plaster brush, just a tiny bit, wipe it off with a paper towel, then engrave the sides as usual. When I'm done, I pour some water into one of the glasses and rinse my brush in it. I put some pink soap on the brush, rub it in and watch the gesso magically pop out of the brush. (Sometimes I have to do this twice.) I repeat the rinse, then pour some water into another glass and do a clean brush rinse in it. This usually completes the cleaning of the brush. I pour the water from the pitcher onto the back lawn, wipe the pitchers clean, and nothing goes into the sink. The pink soap also makes my brush soft and flexible. No more hard brushes, because there is no color left on the hair, which can dry out a lot. And sometimes when I'm interrupted in my work and need to keep the brush "wet" I rub in a little pink soap to keep it from drying out. I simply wipe the brush with a paper towel to remove excess pink soap. This material does not interact with my colors and also has a nice pleasant smell, like that of baby powder. And that goes a long way too. So it became a permanent fixture in my art studio. The instructions say it's suitable for all types of art paint and I can see from other reviews that it's a good degreaser (although I use my trusty Dawn dishwashing liquid for this purpose). . However, I will try to use pink soap on things that Don doesn't clean well. I know pink soap washes paint off brushes that I thought I cleaned pretty well with Dawn, so I think it works better. seems high but it lasts a long, long time. So it's a small price to pay for knowing I can always clean and fix my brushes.
