Excellent socks. They are very thick and very warm. I wear them around the house to protect my feet and keep them warm. I only use a pair to sleep and keep them under my pillow while I wash with the sheets. My husband thinks these are great regular winter socks. You can make 2 upgrades. The top is a bit tight if you are extra careful not to let the socks dent your skin. I take a small pair of nail scissors, turn the bodice inside out and stretch it out so that the white elastic threads are showing. Then I score about every 1 inch. This weakens the elasticity. Some elastic strands will stretch, and this is normal. Mine still stay on my feet afterwards, but the tops are loose, don't dangle or slide down, just very loose and don't leave marks on skin. The length of the sock on the leg should match the crew but it is just above the ankle so they need to add 2 inches to the sock. The fit on the foot is great. They shrink a bit in the washing machine and dryer, but stretch again after you put them on. I wear women's shoes 9-9.5 and my husband wears men's shoes 13. We both wear large men's shoes. For me it's because women fit but are too tight to have room to move and I hate tight socks. For my husband, the men's briefs stretch well enough to fit him well, but they don't fit him loosely like they do on me. I want to see all light grey/beige colors and all navy blue colors. Dark gray pairs great with jeans, dark pants, and pretty much everything my husband wears. We live in a country where it is cold in winter. I recommend these socks and hope they make them longer and make the top a little less tight.
