These are good compression stockings, I wore them for several weeks after the operation. They lasted much longer than the ones they gave me at the hospital. I removed a start because the elastic at the top that is supposed to hold it on the hip is weak and I found that after an hour or so it started rolling down from thigh to knee. Even after hand washing and air drying, the top elastic never recovered and always dangled a bit. While this was a minor inconvenience, the stockings provided all the support and compression needed for the knee, calf and foot and worked well.
