The product is very thin and loose but easy to use. If you stretch, fold, and get creative, it will fill in the holes. The more you use, the stronger it is. I cut it out with scissors but I do it outside or over something. It leaves little "copper" pieces behind. Out in the rocks = who cares? On your kitchen island and on the floor = no bueno. I bought 50 feet and I'm glad I did. I see this being used for other small gaps around the yard/house. I used it to fill the drainage blocks at the bottom of my concrete block fence. I live in Arizona and need water to drain and also to keep critters out. I'm more worried about snakes. The time will show. I only gave 4 stars because I don't know how it will work yet. It blends in well with my "terracotta" walls but still looks like a copper colored Christmas garland ;) Sticking it in the holes to block it works great. I just hope it survives water and dangerous noodles ;)
