These plastic plates worked perfectly and held up well throughout a meal with the grand kids. None of the plates got broken or chipped and they all made it back to the sink and washed up nicely. These plates do fit together very tightly when stacked so I had some difficulty separating them in the dishwater and also on the dish rack so they could dry. They are thin so I'm not sure how many times they will hold up to hot food or washing but there were no problems at all this first use and since there was no damage to them, I chose not to throw them away. The smaller plates will be perfect for desserts and these definitely look more elegant than paper plates. Although the ad says "one size", my package contained large and small plates.
