Review on Greenleaf Doll Houses 8015 Fairfield by Mark Holloway

While Greenleaf suggests that someone with no prior experience can build this, it isn't. I used to build models as a hobby from time to time. Let's just say over 50 years and it's been a challenge. I built a Greenleaf dollhouse for my daughter many years ago, it was larger (1 inch = 1 foot), this scale, 1/2 inch = 1 foot is intimidating at times because of the small space. Even with a full set of different forceps and hemostatic agents, access is tight. The instructions are so poor. Thin plywood is often of poor quality and crumbles and breaks easily. The instructions refer to a large photo on the box that UPS had labeled which could not be removed (should have been my first clue that this would not be easy). You really need to have model building skills (and tools) to handle this. It turned out beautifully, my daughters loved it. If necessary, use a larger scale.
