The securely fitting magnetic bracelet is handy for storing extra drills, screws and other small items.

I bought this for the times I work with our cordless drill. Our older, larger cordless drill has its own magnetic plate for attaching an extra bit, as well as a couple of screws. But we recently got a new, more compact cordless drill, and until I used it for the first time I didn't realize that one or two additional attachments couldn't be attached to it. That's where this magnetic bracelet comes in. It is made of durable reinforced canvas with a wide Velcro strap for a secure and snug fit on the wrist. Before using it for the first time, I wondered if the magnets would be strong enough - strong enough to hold small devices, but not so strong that items would be difficult to remove. But they work well for what I've used them for so far, which is to hold a few bits (drills and screwdrivers) and lots of screws. They hold up well, don't fall off and aren't too difficult to remove. The magnetic attraction is actually strong enough that if you need to briefly tape pliers or another small tool to your wrist, it will stick (although it will eventually fall off if you bang on the handle or whatever part of the tool is above it). protrudes the wrist). Bracelet). I find this useful when making various types of crafts with small metal parts, although things that are very small or flat (like sewing needles or tiny washers) are more difficult to reach to remove the bracelet. It may take a little practice to remember that your wrist is also magnetized by the metal objects you come across. When working in close contact with metal surfaces, or when working on a cluttered workbench with various metal tools/objects lying around, you will find that from time to time you "stick" to things you don't need. This isn't a huge problem, however, as the magnets in the bracelet aren't super-strong neodymium magnets that actually pull things towards you.
