Review on 🐾 Coastal Pet Products Latigo Leather Round Dog Collar, 5/8" x 16 by Nikki Brooks

I was very happy with his collar. Not heavy leather but actually very nice to be light enough so it was very comfortable and light as air for a goldendoodle who weighs about 28lbs. It is in good condition and looks very nice. Rolled skin perfectly protects against tangling of dog hair. I thought I had read the sizing info here on this site and the comments on two other sites (manufacturer and major online pet product site) and was concerned it might be too small as I read various reviews but he was more than me thought . From my understanding the collar length was the last hole of 4 holes (holes are 1 inch apart). My dog's neck was 13 inches. To my knowledge a 14 inch collar has the first hole at 11, 12, 13 and the last at 14. the smallest, the first hole, and still very loose, so we don't use it to walk her or tie her on a leash. This collar is only used for their dog tags. Which is normal as I sometimes pull - despite my best efforts to control the pup - the thin, twisted collar can cut into her throat and esophagus if she sometimes pulls. This is such a beautiful collar, that's why we like it, but the manufacturer could do customers a big favor and serve them better by taking a photo of each collar size next to the ruler, so that we can make a better decision when ordering be able . It's quite confusing to place an order, even if you look for sizing information on the manufacturer's website or a major online pet product website. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and the price was good for the quality but one more star would have been added if the sizing was correct/clearer.
