I bought this item to replace my main shut off valve in the house after watching some videos. The installation seemed like a simple do-it-yourself project. However, I was unable to move the valve to my depth mark to ensure a perfect seal, even after purchasing removable pliers. The valve was sticking and leaking badly. I ended up being forced to hire a plumber at an extremely high price to replace this new valve. The project ended up costing me more than double what I would have originally paid for a plumber. ATTENTION FALSE ADVERTISING!
