I've actually never had a Sata cable fall out of the socket, but it always dangled like a goose. The only thing holding them in the socket is the friction on the connector pins. These cables have a steel spring clip that keeps them perfectly in the connectors. Even though the cables themselves are rigid, they will hold their shape if you bend them in place. Most sata cables have a mind of their own - bend them and they instantly snap back to the same shape they were before you took them out of your pocket. Good cables. Highly recommended!
