So, I have a ball python. And the humidity in his aquarium has always been difficult to maintain. Any snake owner knows that this can cause molting problems. Previously, when I saw him coming to molt, I just sprayed his aquarium more often. his last shed crawled up to us and he kept most of the shed on his head and in the top half. So I ordered this moss to make him a humidity box. Well I decided to mix it with its substrate as well. Which apparently made him loose enough to burrow under, and the next day he finished his barn! I used about two inches of a brick and after wetting it there was enough moss to cover the bottom of half a 40g tank and I had a bit more! These two blocks will last us at least 6 months. Very inexpensive. And very easy to use. It dries out a bit quickly so I still spray it a few times a day. But he seems to be a very happy camper!
