I bought this for my 4 year old. I bought size 3-5. The hat fitted perfectly and has room to grow, but the mittens were huge. I'm not really interested in mittens, because I always buy individual ones anyway. The beanie is a real winner here, there is a long velcro strap at the bottom that covers the neck to keep out the cold. The hat saves me buying scarves! Overall a high quality set.
