Clarification for this model and other models advertising the headrest external dimensions are manipulative acts of the seller. This display is intentionally 16 inches when the rear seat bracket is that size, NOT the 14 inch screen size. I have looked at many other companies and similar models that offer an external rear seat view holder. They also mislead the screen size. This particular model is well made, with a charge indicator that lights up on the surface it sits on. The remote control is fine, but it should be pointed at the wireless receiver in the lower-right corner. The buttons are small but work fine. It's a bit tricky to navigate to make a choice (with the user's choice) and then how to opt out of the new setting. However, the player is preconfigured (quite well) so users don't have to worry about customization. A rotating screen is associated with heavy use or brute force. Do this slowly, rotating the screen in all directions: the cables will fail due to mishandling or sudden tugging and twisting, which will greatly reduce the life of the player. It's well built, the built in battery is very good and can play for 5/6 hours if you lower the contrast and/or brightness and tilt the screen properly towards your eyes instead. This consumes less power but achieved the same good results for the image. US/Canada adapter plug (included) is odd but works with a half twist in the right direction.
