The material is comfortable. I usually have a 36 inch waist. I have a royal blue waist of 40 inches as I've heard it's smaller in other posts. I am 62 years old and fit. When I wore swim trunks in my 20s and 30s, I remember they were 100% nylon. The reason they changed them was because of a bad reputation for the brand. I think the polo style if you can find it is 100% nylon. Much better stuff in my opinion. I mostly wear swimming trunks under my shorts instead of a tracksuit or a padded suit that keeps my crotch wet. The fit is very comfortable and offers good support. Or sunbathe at home. I personally like the even tan instead of the off-white legs from the long shorts. I guess you are considered gay now because most men are insecure or too heavy. It looks like a male label. I'm straight and grew up in them. They appear to be well made. Remember they are 78% nylon yet comfortable. Dries quickly too.
