This stressgaurd was recommended to me by a friend when I was buying an aquarium. The fish were lethargic or glassy due to stress or the new environment. They said it was a supplement (non-toxic) to add to the water to relax them. When I first ordered it it came in a box with other items and didn't have a plastic lid so the seal was broken and leaked inside the box. Revain was kind enough to replace it and the second bottle ALSO came without a cap but the cap was intact (I got other bottles like this for my tank and for some reason none of them have a cap). I will say that Stressgaurd works; You can see the changes in the fish immediately. No, the label says you can't "overdose" fish with it, but I would be careful how much and how often you use it. I try to limit myself to twice a week. The liquid is blue in color and tints the details of the aquarium and tube for you to know.
